The proposition
“Assembled in Britain” can describe radically different amounts of work.
One workshop machines a case, makes a dial and regulates a movement. Another closes a nearly complete watch. Both statements can be technically true. The structured provenance card makes the difference visible.

International components are assembled, regulated and tested in Britain by a named maker or identifiable workshop team.
Designed here, manufactured abroad
A British company or design studio whose watches are manufactured and assembled outside Britain. Quality is not the question; provenance is.
British identity, limited making here
British ownership, naming or heritage with limited publicly stated British involvement in production.
